My first meeting with volunteers

After having collected all those addresses of people who seemed willing to contribute to the WAVE, one day later I sent out an email inviting everyone for a meeting, let's come together and I will explain more. Today was the big day. Will anyone come? Many thanks to the "Fossil-Free" Organisation, especially Edwin Moser, who let me make my first meeting in his office at Idaplatz in Zürich. I didn't know whom or what to expect, and so did noone. But I was happy that 13 people showed up to our first meeting today, and wooowwww... even better - they were fully motivated to be part of the WAVE! It didn't take me too much efforts to convince everyone, and the meeting finished at 23 pm only. We have made an S-group with people who want to help to prepare everything for the schools, and a C-group for people who wanted to contact schools and organizations worldwide. Finally all others became part of a B-group, for "backoffice". We agreed that the school group will meet next Sunday in Zurich to discuss all matters around the schools (involving two teachers, an specialist in agriculture and an "IT-lady"), and as soon as the materials for the schools will be ready, they wil be sent to the C-grup so they can start contacting the schools by mid december, just in time before most schools in the world are leaving for their Xmas vacation.
