Invitation to all schools!

Is your school situated anywhere in a coastal aera of this world, or any where between Bremerhaven and Geneva, then you are invited to participate in the WAVE!

Send a climate commitment of each pupil to United Nations and the leaders of the world.
On a particular day between February and June 2015, the WAVE will send an electric vehicle to your school to pick up the commitments and take them to the nearest port - to be shipped to Bremerhaven, Germany. From there, 100 electric vehicles will transport those cards in a convoi to United Nations in Geneva, creating not only the world's largest card mosaic (a new Guinness World Record), but also sending a strong message from each pupil to the nations of this world. Finally, each pupil will find his card online, when a drone will take a high resolution photograph of the whole mosaic.

Join the WAVE with your school - and let's move the world!

We have prepared some simple teaching resources, so you as a teacher can explain the issue of global warming to your pupils before they start writing their card. All it takes is about 1 lesson of 45 minutes.

Teaching resources about
global warming, like the causes, effects, difference between countries etc. All easy to understand, and idela for pupils between age 10 and 15.
A selection of 25 easy to understand commitments for pupils, how they can reduce their own CO2 emissions in their every day life.  Pupils should select one of these commitments for their comittment card (or invent their own)
The commitment cards must have a certain shape and size in order to be accepted for the GUINNESS World Record. See in a few steps how to produce them:
